Benefits of Veneer
Wondering what makes Bartels doors a cut above the rest?
It's what’s inside, all Bartels doors have an engineered core to control moisture to maintain the doors’ structure. The unique core is designed to prevent swelling and shrinking synonymous with solid wood doors.
Why Veneer?
Trees have various characteristics, some we prefer like the grain direction or a unique color pattern, others we prefer to avoid, like a knot. When choosing a veneered door, only the best features of a wood type are used.
Did you know that multiple doors can have nearly exactly the same pattern thanks to veneer? Yes this is called "book matching"
Have a double door planned? Mirroring the veneer will offer a striking finished look.
Vertical Veneer
Preferred most by designers
Allows doors to appear taller
Available with most Real Wood Veneers
Horizontal Veneer
Striking with stainless steel strips
Spaces look wider with horizontal elements
Available with most Real Wood Veneers
Painted / Lacquered
The Real Lacquer Collection guarantees the highest level of quality with its exclusive 6-paint finish. So that there is no need to compromise on color selection either, we can paint any shade according to RAL or NCS color chart on request.
Please note that due to screen resolution and monitor settings, the color/ finish options shown may vary slightly from the finished product provided. The sample Swatch shown is for viewing purposes only and not intended to be an exact representation of the product.

What's so great about Bartels painted finish?
Paint techniques can make or break a project and Bartels offers only the smoothest painted surfaces. Factory quality is an understatement when the final product is complete, often confused for a solid plastic or stone, the painted doors at Bartels are painted and sanded multiple times in a "waterfall environment" to prevent dust particles from interfering in the smooth finish. Just like cars, this process creates layers so scratches are less likely to occur and if they do are scratches are less noticeable.
