Door Materials, Finishes & Lead Times
- Wood and Glass are a product of nature and are never flawless, these natural variations are to be expected and do not constitute a defect. The variations will vary within reasonable tolerances that are considered industry standard.
- The nature of an applied finish, along with the unique qualities of nature or manufactured wood, can create an unbalanced or inconsistent look. All finishes are susceptible to discoloration due to airborne particles such as cooking, frying, smoke, fireplaces or candles. Prolonged exposure to natural or artificial light and/or moisture may alter the finish color. Touch up or replacement items completed after installation may not result in an exact match.
- Glass: Spontaneous breakages without any recognizable external influence are physically unavoidable and do not justify the purchaser’s rights of defects. Spontaneous fractures are usually caused by inclusions or foreign particles that cannot be avoided in the glass production. The break itself cannot be ruled out in such a case.
- Colors and finishes provided online are intended to be samples only and not a representation of the final product. Due to screen resolution, what is viewed online may vary slightly from the final product.
- Any delivery times provided are deemed approximate and not contractually binding. BARTELS is not responsible for delays beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, fires, acts of God, international shipping and custom clearance delays or other similar reasons.
Door Modifications After Production
Door systems provided by Bartels USA are supplied factory finished with a furniture grade lacquer or veneer finish. The door systems are not intended to be modified after production.

If a door modification request can be completed the Purchaser waives any/all claim of defect to that door system. This includes but is not limited to finish, handle location, size and/or routings.
**Door modifications are an additional charge that will be quoted at the time of the request.
